Children are given Zyrtec Syrup to treat a variety of symptoms, including runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and itching related to allergic disorders such common cold, hay fever, urticaria (hives), and conjunctivitis (red, itchy eye).
As directed by your child’s doctor, give your kid this medication orally, with or without food, at the prescribed dose, time, and manner. It may be prescribed either on its own or in conjunction with other medications. Your child’s allergy symptoms can go away after using Zyrtec Syrup for a few doses. Your child may need to take the medication for a week or two longer if they have a severe allergy. After your child feels better, give them the same dosage again if they throw up within 30 minutes of taking this medication.
